Their dinner was delicious! The waiter was very polite, and the whole family loved it! Everywhere you look you see some variation of the colors red, white, and blue, not in a bad way, that is. Also, the pie was very good! You'll get very generous portions relative to the price. All in all, I highly recommend this place.

Let me start by saying the food wasn't too bad. Nothing special, but not bad. The service, however, was garbage.
I received half my order and when i politely asked where my salad was, one of the waitresses screamed at me and was extremely rude. When she later brought the salad out (way after I had gotten my entree) she threw it down on the table and said, "sorry you didn't get it in the order you wanted it", and stormed off.
Ummm....sorry? I didn't realize you are the only restaurant on earth that either;
A. Serves salad as dessert.
Or B. Yells at the customer because they forgot to serve them part of their meal.
Conclusion: I'm sure this one review won't affect their clientele, as they are a small town restaurant and people have no other options. However, if they treat enough out of town people like this, they may notice their tourist season business wither. I won't be back. -

Recommended by the park host - and he was right! Catfish, onion rings, and coconut cream pie were SO good. Now highly recommended by me! Standard plate dinners and sandwiches also available. Service was attentive and friendly. Great spot for lunch or dinner. Note: Yelp listing was wrong about hours of operation. Closes at 8pm Mon-Sat.

Service and food are ok. It's nice to see a decent place in a small town. The atmosphere is laid back and the service is friendly but not always attentive. The food is far from the best but not terrible. Family friendly on the restaurant side. Sometimes clean, sometimes not.

Found this little gem on the way to the lake. Food was amazing, pie was outrageously good and the staff treat you like family. Homemade food, great prices and friendly staff will make this a favorite place to stop. Stay and shop a little afterwards because there are some cute antique shops...way to go Hootenanny Cafe!!
